Do I need SurveyTrac?
Your Trac System has some feedback options built in to your visits. As a student signs in/out, the standard feedback can provide some quick questions for the student. These are simple and effective, but limited in their use. SurveyTrac provides a depth of features for gathering feedback. With SurveyTrac, you can gather feedback during specific date ranges, from specific populations of students, for visits that meet specific criteria, and surveys can be presented in many more ways than the built-in questions. To enhance how you gather feedback in your Trac System, SurveyTrac is a must-have tool.
Can I just run SurveyTrac without a Trac System?
SurveyTrac cannot run on its own and must be added to a Trac System: AdvisorTrac, TutorTrac, or FitnessTrac. While SurveyTrac provides many enhancements, the Trac System provides the database, interface, and environment that is required to access and survey the student and consultant records.
Does the Trac System require a server?
Your Trac System may be installed locally at your campus or may be hosted by Redrock Software. When installed at your campus, you must have a dedicated server that meets the Server Requirements. If you would like Redrock Software to host your Trac System, then you will not need to manage a server and will simply work with your Trac System through the web interface.
